Obituary July 25, 2021 at 7:45 a.m. Maiko (7 years and 7 months old) On the 24th, her pupils opened and she wobbled backwards and became unconscious. She was taken to the emergency hospital, where she regained consciousness, but went into a coma twice. It’s a miracle that a dog with hydrocephalus was able to survive for seven years. She was born spinning in circles, could not walk straight, and was deaf. The hospital where he was born told to kill him, but I refused. Despite her spinning, she has survived for seven years without any serious injuries or illnesses. At the cafe, he has been loved by customers from overseas for his sweet and cute personality despite his handicap. He was always at the top of the popularity polls, and was a great healer! She really created a lot of memories for me. At the hospital, we were told that she might not make it through the night, but she hung in there until morning. She had hydrocephalus and acute pneumonia, and her breathing became ragged, and her mouth and nose became a sea of blood. I can only express my gratitude to my doctor who stayed with me all night and took care of and controlled me until the end! I was told that her heart stopped spontaneously as her breathing became thinner and less painful, but I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the end. I was prepared to spend the whole night with her, and I stayed with her from the emergency room the day before until midnight, so I have no regrets, but I am sad. The lives that passed before my eyes. I have taken care of sudden deaths, cancer, and senility every year, but this is the first time I have been in a hospital with a condition that could force euthanasia, and I am still confused, but I want to be healed by everyone. I can’t forget how cute Maiko was, spinning around at the Pug Cafe, deaf and with sparkling eyes, receiving treats ❗ Thank you for taking care of Maiko until now. I’d like to continue to do my best with the remaining pugs so that I can continue the Pug Cafe Kyoto that Maiko loves. Thank you for your kind words.
